Parque Natural Chicaque

We walked on a mountain, more than 400 km downhill it was not so complicated, we saw all the kind of animals, many mothers, we climbed up a ridge, at the time of climbing it was more complicated and that we went the short way, all very exhausted, but it was an experience worth repeating
Paramo Forage
During the tour I got distracted by the cyclists, the landscape and the driving apprentices who take that route. Soon, the farms and cows intermingle with the frailejones, typical of the páramo ecosystem. After 35 minutes of travel and one more curve, there it was, an artisan sign made of branches announcing "Matarredonda Ecological Park". We arrived.
At ten o'clock in the morning I start the first tour. The day is clear and the sun is reflected imposing on the Andes mountain range. In the distance you can see cottages of peasants from the region, and the odd frailejón.
A few meters further on, I find a stone path, surrounded by a yellow and orange straw mat, which contrasts with the clear sky. Much of the route is on this real road. According to the Senderos y Memoria Foundation, "The royal roads were in the colonial era the arteries of communication between regions". Interconnected the municipality of Choachí, the savannah of Bogotá and the Eastern Plains, and allowed the exchange of food and various resources for more than 500 years. Today they are still intact, and I walk around thinking about the thousands of stories they have been able to witness.
On either side of the road there are butterflies, several species of frailejones and small shrubs of red, orange and purple flowers, characteristic of the high-Andean forest. There is a lot, lots of water everywhere, even slipping through the stones of the path, where I see myself among the game of greedy and juggling jumping from stone to stone to get to the other side without messing my shoes. But no one is saved from getting muddied, and a few minutes later I have mud up to my knee, a lot of laughter, and regret not having worn pantanero boots or, perhaps, a change of change.

Workshop
1. 1.Identify the characteristics that make bees the most effective pollinators.
2. According to the text, what would be the reasons that could justify Einstein's prophecy?
3. According to the text the word "Zangano" has some relation with the current meaning of it.
4. What points of encounter are there between the two texts that you have read about bees? Create a scheme.
5. Do you consider adequate the answer or explanation that Corpoguavio gives to beekeepers regarding the death of bees? Why?
6. According to the text, there is respect for this species when, among other things, there are no pesticide abuses. What other actions do you consider can be respectful with the environment?
7. Ask about the pollination process of bees and make a graphic with images and text to explain it. Perform on a Power Point slide, save it as an image and publish it.
8. Conduct a consultation on 5 tree species that are being harmed by pesticides and write what could be the consequences of this.
9. Create an expository text (at least one page) that shows the consequences for the vegetation and the human being that the bees are dying.
10. See the movie BEE MOVIE by Stiven Hickner, Simon J. Smith.
Solution .
- One of the main characteristics is the ability to transport pollen as such, nature depends on a large part of the bees!
- It is simple, if this were to happen, you would see a little reproduction of the plants since these would not have their pollination process, this would cause a great damage to the plants, insects etc.
- Yes, this has a relationship since the "Drone" is the one who does nothing!
- I feel that the answer given by Corpoguavio is not the correct one, if we look at what it is about rescuing, here is the care of the bees. Including here that the place where they were was not the most adequate.
- I feel that the majority is not respected, and even use a double standard to carry out disgusting things that cause permanent and progressive damage. In conclusion I would say that the best way to care for the environment is to raise awareness among the human population, we must leave a positive footprint and spread the word on the basis of rescuing species of plants and animals that are in danger of extinction, also knowing how to recycle, know how to do it well differentiating the place of the meals, plastics etc.
